- Check out the international market center (super cute mall mall that has a free luau inside) to buy mineral sunscreen, bug spray, and any other forgotten needs. We even picked up a day stroller at Target!
- A Hawaiian staple for food: Dukes Waikiki – Order both desserts, they are hawaii specials with history to the culture
- A hotel we LOVED: Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk – Ocean view rooms, breakfast included, a reception, and more!
- Lanikai Beach (best beach in the world)
- Byodo-Temple (opens at 8:30AM closes at 4:40PM) (1-2hr visit typically)
- Polynesian center (open from 12:15pm-9PM)- A fun way to spend an entire day. Don’t miss the Luau or the fire show!
- The Kualoa Ranch where Jurassic park was filmed. (We didn’t go in to this but the drive by was enough to speak to the beautiful stop this would have been!)
- Shrimp trucks for lunch right on the North Shore (some of the best surfing in the world here!) The famous shaved ice on the North Shore is a light dessert for after.
- Pearl Harbor memorial (open from 7AM until 5pm) Should take 1-2hrs
NOTE****ARIZONA PART*** A special ticketed exhibit to plan ahead for. - Best place for car rentals throughout ALL of Hawaii: https://www.discounthawaiicarrental.com/resources/
- Company we planned to surf through: https://surfnorthshore.com/surf-lessons
- Waikiki Beach Honolulu – A beach you have to at the very least drive by.
I can’t recommend any real hikes here since we did not have time to go on any but there are plenty of beautiful opportunities!
